Dr. Chitre is co-founder of BIO-VED Pharmaceuticals, Inc. She has over 20 years of experience as a physician, clinical researcher and business. Dr. Chitre graduated from the University of Bombay, where she developed a deep interest in Ayurveda as she studied modern medicine. Dr. Chitre did her internship at New York Medical College and completed her residency at University of California, San Francisco. Subsequently, she was on the academic faculty of Stanford University Medical Center and Lucille Salter Packard Children’s Hospital for a number of years, among other renowned institutions. She has served and chaired several different committees involved in health care, scientific research, clinical management, hospital administration and medical teaching standards. Dr. Chitre has been an invited speaker at many scientific and business conferences. |

Deben Dey,
Ph.D., Chief Scientific Officer |
Dr. Dey has >15 years experience, 40 US and Intl’ patents issued/applied, >60 publications in Drug Discovery and Research; and has received several national and international Awards for ‘Scientific Excellence.” He has a PhD in Biochemistry from Banaras Hindu Univ., India, and was on the Faculty at U C Davis. Subsequently Dr Dey has been Founder Scientist at Calyx Therapeutics and VP Research at Bexel Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in California. In both companies, Dr Dey has raised large venture funding in Series A, B and C rounds; set up and successfully run drug discovery research, and built scientific liaisons with multinational pharma companies, academic institutions and the NIH. Dr Dey joined BIO-VED in April 2008.

 Mr. S. R. Bajekal Vice President |
Mr S. R. Bajekal has over 35 years of experience in the Indian and multi-national pharmaceutical industry. A pharmacist by training from University of Bombay, he has a strong operations & marketing background with large multi-national pharma companies like Sandoz and Roche. He has set up and run operations for Aphali Pharmaceuticals (Ayurvedic) and subsequently Ranbaxy in Nigeria. He has been associated with BIO-VED for more than five years in executive management. |

Mr. Alfred Grigsby |
Mr. Grigsby is a graduate of University of California, Berkeley where he was a star basketball player. He played professionally in Japan & Europe. On returning from basketball, he joined a topical analgesia company, Flex Power in California as VP Business Development. He has been with BIO-VED for more than three years and oversees the sales and marketing efforts of the company. He has been implemental in exponential sales growth through chiropractors, physical therapists, orthopedists and distributors. |
